- q.b. salt and seed oil for frying
- Cumin, spicy and sweet paprika
PREPARATION
Nachos are crunchy waffles, ideal to serve as an aperitif. They were born in Mexico and their name comes from the creator of the recipe, Mr Nacho.
The recipe and ingredients are really simple, impossible not to try to make them! Let’s see the procedure:
- Turn on your Faribon and grind the corn with the thinnest coating to obtain a fine grain;
- Pour the flour into a bowl and add a generous pinch of salt;
- Add the hot water one tablespoon at a time and knead the dough until it reaches a soft, slightly sticky consistency. Consider using all the water depending on the consistency of the dough. Let stand 30 minutes.
- Make a ball and roll out the dough with a rolling pin on the parchment paper. You must obtain a dough sheet about 2cm high;
- Roll out the leftover flour and some spices and cut the dough into triangles, using a wheel to cut the pizza:
- Fry the nachos in a little hot oil for a few seconds, they must brown slightly. Alternatively you can bake them in the oven at 180 turns for 12-15 minutes;
- Sprinkle with the remaining spices and serve with your favorite sauce!
